Pumpkin Seed and Raisin Pesto

  • 40 g pumpkin seeds
  • 20 g raisins
  • 10 leaves rosemary
  • 50 g dried tomatoes (pickled)
  • 10 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt


  1. First, briefly roast the pumpkin seeds, raisins and rosemary leaves in a pan without oil over medium heat.
  2. Then put them into a stand mixer with all the other ingredients and puree to a pesto.

About this recipe

This pesto with pumpkin seeds and raisins is an alternative to a classic pesto rosso. It tastes balanced nutty and sweet, rounded off with fresh herbs - and goes well with any type of pasta.
