Basil Pesto

Ingredients
- 40 g pine nuts
- 10 tbsp. of olive oil
- 1 tbsp. nutritional yeast
- 25 g basil (fresh)
- Salt
Instructions
- Toast the pine nuts in a pan over medium heat until golden brown. Then remove from the pan and let cool slightly.
- In a large mortar (or a stand mixer), crush the pine nuts with a bit of olive oil, yeast flakes, and 1 teaspoon of salt until a uniform paste is reached. Then add the basil and the remaining olive oil and mix until it has the desired consistency.
