Muhammara

Ingredients
- 60 g walnuts
- 30 g breadcrumbs
- 60 g roasted red peppers
- 1 tbsp. Nar Ekşisi (pomegranate syrup)
- 4 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 tbsp. tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp. paprika powder
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp. cumin
- 1/4 tsp. chili flakes
- Salt, sugar
Instructions
- First, toast the walnuts in a pan without oil over low heat for 3 - 4 minutes. Flip them occasionally so that they don't burn.
- Afterwards, finely chop the walnuts together with the breadcrumbs and 1 teaspoon each of salt and sugar in a stand mixer.
- Then add all the other ingredients and puree until smooth.
- Serve with olive oil, chopped walnuts and parsley.
