Fried Potatoes

Ingredients

    • 700 g potatoes
    • 1 onion
    • 1 tbsp vegan butter
    • Sunflower oil
    • Salt
    • Pepper

Instructions

    • Finely dice the onion. Peel the potatoes.
    • Bring water with salt to a boil. Add the potatoes to the cold water and cook for 20 minutes from the point it starts boiling, until tender. Then drain, briefly rinse under cold water and let cool completely.
    • Cut the potatoes into even slices.
    • Heat sunflower oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the potato slices, season with salt and pepper and fry for about 15 minutes, turning regularly.
    • Add the diced onion and fry for another 5 minutes, until everything is golden brown.
    • Add the vegan butter and briefly toss to combine.
