Wheat Tortillas

For 4 tortillas


    • 180 g all-purpose flour
    • 100 ml water
    • 2 tbsp canola oil
    • Pinch of salt


    • First mix flour and salt in a bowl. Then make a mould in the middle of the flour. Add oil and water and then gradually mix the flour with the liquid. Knead everything into a smooth dough. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
    • Shape the dough into 4 balls of the same size. Dust each ball with some flour. Let it rest for another 10 minutes.
    • Roll out the dough balls one by one on a well floured surface very flat. Bake in a coated pan at medium to high heat without oil on both sides until golden brown.
