Ingredients
Dough
- 320 g flour, type 00
- 200 ml water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 5 g fresh yeast
Tomato sauce
- 1/2 can of peeled tomatoes
- 5 leaves of fresh basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
Vegan cheese
- 70 ml soy milk (unsweetened)
- 50 g vegan cheese
- 1 tsp vegan butter
- 1 tsp flour
Instructions
- For the tomato sauce, roughly puree the tomatoes, basil and salt in a blender.
- For the cheese, sauté the flour and vegan butter in a saucepan at low heat. Then stir in the soy milk with a whisk and simmer for 2 – 3 minutes. Then add the vegan cheese and stir until you get a viscous mixture. Leave to cool in the fridge.
- For the dough put lukewarm water in a bowl and dissolve the yeast. Add olive oil, salt and sugar. Then gradually add the flour and mix completely until you have a smooth dough. Knead the dough for 10 minutes. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Then divide the dough and form two balls. Cover and leave to rise for another hour.
- Preheat the oven to 250°C.
- Form the dough with your hands into two flat pizzas. Cover with tomato sauce and vegan cheese.
- Bake for 8 – 10 minutes.
